Meet Kathy

Once upon a time, a little girl from Augusta, Georgia, had a big dream. She wanted more than anything to become a singer and be on stage. So as she was growing up, this little girl took piano lessons, voice lessons, and joined all her school choirs. She continued in college to study voice and joined her college choir. After college, she began singing professionally and has been living her lifelong dream for 22 years.

Kathy began her professional career in music in 1986, when she formed her own show group, Queen of Hearts. Since then, she has performed across the southeast for numerous country clubs, cocktail lounges, restaurants, festivals, weddings, carnivals, malls, schools and teen clubs. She has performed on cruise ships, for Veterans of Foreign War Posts, American Legion Posts and military bases. She has performed for resort hotel functions and at numerous corporate, company and private parties.

Kathy's song list covers a wide variety of music including beach music, oldies, country, classic rock, pop, Motown and more. Whatever music the event calls for, is what she delivers. Great song choice, great sound, fun entertainment and personality are what has kept her in big demand. Her love for singing and entertaining shows in all of her performances. Her talent would be an asset to any occasion.

Kathy wrote her first song when she was 17. She went on to record her first album, Heart Away, which was released in 1989. In 1991, she released a second album, self-titled, Kathy Lynn. Both albums were released on her own record label, GMH Records. Kathy is currently working on a third album, which will be released in 2010.

Kathy has also become involved in Foreverland Productions, a musical theater production company. In 2007, she made her acting debut and has starred in several original musicals produced by the company.

Kathy lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her family. She enjoys shagging, boating, beach music and spending time with family and friends.
